The Australian Wallabies have begun their mind games by publicly commenting on next Monday’s crucial Rugby World Cup’s Pool C clash against the Flying Fijians.

Wallabies tighthead prop Taniela Tupou who had impressed head coach, Eddie Jones, on how he dominated the Georgians in the scrum told Sydney Morning Herald, ‘that he still has a lot in the tank for the Fiji game.’

Tupou said the win over Georgia should assure their fans that the Wallabies could do damage at the World Cup.

He is expected to face Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai or Jone Koroiduadua.

Wallabies winger Mark Nawaqanitawse, who turned 23 on Monday told Roar, that he is expecting a storm to hit their camp as Fiji’s campaign rests on a positive outcome against the Wallabies.

Nawaqanitawase, who has been used brilliantly in the air over the past month, said the Wallabies won’t change their plan drastically despite the Fijians being one of the most physical and explosive sides in the rugby world.

This is because they have backs like Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova, two of the globe’s biggest midfielders.

“It won’t change anything. We’ve got to back ourselves in what we do. Making sure we’re focusing on ourselves,” he said.

“We’ve obviously had our game and we’ve got things to improve on, that we want to work on. We’ll have certain things that we will change for the game, but for the most part, we’re just worried about ourselves.”

The Flying Fijians took a rest day yesterday to recover from their torrid encounter against Wales.

Flying Fijians head coach Simon Raiwalui during the after the match presser stressed the importance of doing their recovery well before starting their preparations for the Wallabies clash.
