The Meli Derenalagi captained- Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side will not leave any stones unturned against Moana Pasifika in today’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

The Nawaka, Nadi, native said their aim is to make the quarterfinal and they will avenge their first-round loss to Moana Pasifika in their away match.

The Drua went down 39-36 during the Super Round in Melbourne, Australia.

“For us going into the quarters, this will be an important game,” Derenalagi said.

“We’ve been preparing well this week.

We know it will be a physical battle.

“The boys have done the hard yards throughout the week preparing for Saturday’s game.

There won’t be lots of playing around.

We’ll just go straight on through the front door.

So, we’ve been preparing with the boys to contest every ruck.”

Derenalagi said this time around the game plan is different.

“Like the first game that we played, I was frustrated with the boys especially we did not do what the coaches wanted us to do.

‘But now we know the plays and we’ve been preparing how to counter them,” added Derenalagi.

“Last week was disappointing for us as a team.

For some games I just don’t know there will be mistakes made.

“But we’ve ended up tightening the screws in those areas that we’ve been having problems with.

“So coming out tomorrow, I know the boys will be going all out blazing.”

The match kicks-off at 2.05pm.
