Test centre reopens – The Fiji Times

DATEC has reopened its newly upgraded Pearson Vue Test Centre Select (PVTC Select) which it said will provide “the best international standard exam facility to meet the ever-growing demand for global certifications among skilled professionals.”

“Our investment in this state-of-the-art centre reflects our dedication to excellence and our mission to support the professional development of our community,” Datec chief executive officer Vinit Nand said in a statement issued yesterday.

“This facility is designed to meet the highest international standards and will serve as a cornerstone for building knowledgeable teams ready to tackle future challenges.”

The PVTC Select facility is among the top five per cent of Pearson Vue Testing Centres worldwide, “adhering to strict international technical specifications, equipment, configurations, administration, layout structure, and certified personnel.”

The new facility will improve convenience to Datec’s clients, where candidates from the greater Suva area, who previously had to travel to the West to sit for their exams, can now do so locally.

“The test centre’s capacity has increased fourfold, allowing more individuals to take their exams simultaneously.

“Notably, the facility offers access to the most renowned English exam, PTE, and other higher-tier exams previously unavailable in Suva.”

“The vision behind this upgrade from PVTC to PVTC Select was to offer a top-tier Computer Based Test (CBT) facility that supports digitalisation and adapts to evolving certification exam requirements.

“This fostered growth and continuous improvement, ensuring that individuals from Fiji and the region have access to the best testing experiences,” Datec stated.
