THE Honiara City Councilor for Rove-Lengakiki Ward Eddie Siapu has been re-elected for another term.

Mr Siapu told Solomon Star that he was very happy to be reelected and he looked forward to working with the residents of Rove-Lengakiki Ward again during his new term in office.

“I am very happy that I am reelected again for another term in office. In fact, I was expecting this positive result.  What I did not expect was some friends contesting against me but I am happy that I am reelected and I thank my supporters for the confidence they have in me.

“Yes, as I have stated, I look forward to working with the people in Rove-Lengakiki Ward again in the next four years. I also look forward to working with other councilors to carry out our duties in serving Honiara City.”
