Soundscapes will return to Smith’s for its 47th iteration this week. Genie and Saxon Davis will be on hand with alternative, experimental and otherwise uncategorised sounds before Reuben Ingall and Marlene Claudine Radice present a live soundtracking of the iconic 1996 film Independence Day.
The Chris Harland Blues Band will be bringing their rollicking energy to the Old Canberra Inn on Saturday. And they’ll need it to compete with Pirate Palooza and its shanty singalong happening just next door. Eden Plenty will be stopping by the OCI on Sunday afternoon.
Acclaimed explorative jazz quartet Underwards will showcase their carefully woven sonic tapestries to Smith’s Alternative next week. Catch them on Tuesday night with support from long-time collaborators Sia Ahmad and Tom Fell.
