Fiji Airways Fiji men’s rugby sevens head coach Osea Kolinisau has rotated the players around as he named his team to next weekend’s Singapore Sevens.

This is to enable him to select his best players for the Paris Olympic Games in France, which is from July 26 to August 11.

Kolinisau has rested key playmakers Waisea Nacuqu along with Napolioni Bolaca instead he has opted to take Terio Tamani and Pilipo Bukayaro.

Tamani has been playing well for Suva in the Skipper Cup competition.

In the forwards, Kolinisau has dropped Josese Batirerega, Jeremaia Matana, Manueli Maisamoa and Suliano Volivoli. He has recalled veteran Sevuloni Mocenacagi.

Also staying back is winger Viwa Naduvalo while stepping in is Ropate Rere, Ioane Teba and Kaminieli Rasaku.

Meanwhile, nippy playmaker Mereula Torooti has forced her way into the Fijiana women’s sevens team.

She could be an ideal replacement for the injured Reapi Ulunisau.

Fijiana sevens coach, Saiasi Fuli, has dropped Heleina Young from his squad and replaced her with former Fijian Drua winger Laisani Moceisawana.
