IBO (International Boxing Organisation) Asia Pacific and Fiji super welterweight champion Winston “Real Deal” Hill wants to put on a good show for boxing fans in Labasa.

Hill takes on Vanuatu’s Roy Ser dubbed the Tsunami at Subrail Park, Labasa in the main bout of the South Pacific Boxing Promotions programme on Friday, August 10.

“I’m really looking forward to growing my boxing record against Roy Ser who is a local talent in Vanuatu,” Hill said.

“I’ve actually spent a few training camps with him in the past when he fought Ratu Rakuro.”

Hill said “Ser had knocked out Rakuro in their fight which shows his skillset and class.”

“We’re always looking to challenge ourselves and bring in international fighters and we’re thankful to South Pacific Boxing Promotions for making it possible.”

Hill said he would shift his attention to a seven-week training programme in preparation for the fight.

“Training will be intense as always and we will treat this fight as if it’s another title fight as we’ll grow and groom us towards bigger title fights,” he added.
