Daugunu has played 69 Super Rugby games with the Reds and 12 with the Rebels, as they reached their first playoffs this season.
Fijian-born Wallabies utility back Filipo Daugunu has returned to the Queensland Reds.
“It’s good to be back home,” Daugunu said when announcing his return.
The 29-year-old played for the Melbourne Rebels in this year’s Super Rugby Pacific season. The Rebels have been disbanded by Rugby Australia due to financial constraints.
Daugunu has played 69 Super Rugby games with the Reds and 12 with the Rebels, as they reached their first playoffs this season.
He was later named in the Wallabies squad by head coach Joe Schmidt for the July Test matches.
