Sky News host Chris Kenny says political staffers wanting a 20 per cent pay rise shows they are “stuck in the Canberra bubble” and out of touch with the rest of the country.
“I’ve been a parliamentary staffer, I know what a good gig that is, right,” Mr Kenny said.
“There’s all sorts of perks, bloody hard work if you do it well.
“Putting in for a 20 per cent pay rise, that’s just ridiculous, isn’t it?
“It shows they’re stuck in the Canberra bubble and out of touch.”
