Ratu Kadavulevu School extended their winning run last Saturday after taking out the Vodafone Deans Trophy Under-17 title.

This side has never lost a game right from the U14 grade.

Speaking to SUNsports, head coach, Usaia Naqicitabua, said the team is ready for next year as they try to bring the glory back to Delainakaikai.

“During the halftime break, I told the boys to strap up on defence since this is the final,” Naqicitabua said.

“We cannot keep on doing those lazy mistakes at the crucial time of the match.”

He added the team had been well-prepared and maintained composure especially in the last 10 minutes of the final, which enabled them to finish on top.
